Board-certified physician. Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. Founder of Axis Precision Health.
Dr. Ashley Caravelli is a board-certified physician and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner with over a decade of clinical experience. Her clinical work has focused on the intersection of hormones, metabolism, and inflammation in midlife. She also serves as an adjunct clinical professor at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her medical degree, teaching the next generation of physicians.
She has pursued advanced education in menopause medicine, including training through the menopause education program developed by Dr. Heather Hirsch, who founded the Menopause and Midlife Clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital and served as a clinical instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Caravelli founded Axis Precision Health to provide a physician-led, evidence-based approach to midlife care focused on hormonal health, metabolic function, and long-term vitality. She writes about midlife medicine on the Axis blog, and more about her background is at drashleycaravelli.com.
Outside the practice, she is a mom to two wonderful little girls, a devoted Peloton rider (with a standing thank you to Cody and Denis), and an unapologetic Disney adult. She loves to garden and to cook, and the best version of both is with her daughters beside her. As a wife, a mother, a daughter, and a sister, she knows exactly how easy it is to put yourself last. You are allowed to be a priority.
